We will be going to Minneapolis next week in a Skylane. Our destination
is about four miles South of MSP; a lot closer than SGS (which seems to
be the next closest airport).

Will the "big iron" operations at MSP make its apparent time advantage
over SGS moot?

Check the MSP Airport information for preferred arrival times for GA
aircraft. Call one of the FBO's to get the details.

SGS is really easy in and out.. its not very far from MSP either (5NM
to be exact) MSP is a pain to get in and out of.
